Abu CampPremier

Camp
Six rooms in Afro-Bedouin style with en-suite bathroom and private veranda. Airy rooms, opulent, private and furnished partly with antique furniture. Pool at the main building. Hippo pool in front of the lodge.

Location
Abu Camp is situated in a private reserve (180,000 hectares) in the northwestern part of the Okavango Delta.

Wildlife
Various kinds of antelopes, elephants, buffaloes and wild cats. Elephant sightings are especially exciting as you can get very close to them.

Activities
The main attraction is certainly the experience of riding on elephants when going on safaris, and the opportunity to experience these wonderful animals up-close. Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, night drives, bush walks and, during the flood season, boat rides in a traditional dugout canoe (mokoro) are also available.

Specials
Abu is the first camp to offer elephant safaris in Africa. The name "Abu" refers to male elephants which were shipped from an American zoo to Botswana. Through their beauty and wonderful character, they shape the history of the camp.
