6 stylish rooms with en-suite bathroom, indoor and outdoor showers and a lovely veranda. The rooms are built on VERY high stilts and you have a wonderful view over the floodplain. Pool near the main building is accessible via a footbridge. In front of the dining room and lounge, there is a huge veranda with a great view.
Kwetsani is located about an hour's drive away from Jao in the swamp area. The plains are interrupted by small palm islands, which are beautifully reflected in the water. The plain in front of the lodge fills up with water in April and remains flooded until around September.
Various types of antelopes, elephants, buffaloes, lions, leopards, hippos and crocodiles. During the flooding season, the floodplains are full of red lechwe antelopes, an unforgettable sight.
Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, night drives, bush walks (on request), fishing (catch & release). During the high tide, discover the channels of the Delta on mokoros and motorized boats.
There is an observation platform about 20 minutes outside the camp, which can also be booked for overnight stays, so-called "Sleepouts". Breakfast on deck during the sunrise!
