Little Vumbura is the little sister of the premier Camp, Vumbura Plains. It is situated on a green island with a picturesque touch in the northern Okavango Delta, surrounded by broad rivers and reed-covered plains. To get to the camp, one gets from the vehicle into a motor boat for the last 500m and will be delightfully greeted by hippos.
Vumbura is permanently in flood waters, which means mokoro rides and all other water activities are available throughout the year. At the same time, it has also dry areas where you can see a lot on game drives. Cheetahs and wild dogs may be there. Lions, elephants and the rare scimitar-horned oryx too.
Mokoro and boat rides, game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, bush walks, depending on the season on request.
Around the camp. Water and land activities can be experienced in the camp itself.
