Nine rooms on stilts with spacious en-suite bathroom, which includes a tub in the center of the room. Veranda overlooking the palm-strewn floodplain. Paddling pool in the main building.

Selinda is located at the Selinda Spillway. The Spillway is since years heavily flooded and is the connection between the Okavango waters and the northeastern Linyanti and Kwando Rivers. Depending on the water levels of the two sides, the water flows in one direction or another. In some years, it even flowed in both directions, so flat is the country! The environment consists of different habitats and guarantees a large animal diversity.

The area is in winter (May to August), if the Selinda waters are the only source of water, full of massive herds of elephants, and throughout the year full of wild animals such as zebras, antelopes, giraffes, wildebeest, etc. Predators such as lions, leopards, cheetahs and even wild dogs are all here. Great birdlife.

Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, bush walks usually possible. Selinda offers, at certain times, canoe adventures in the vicinity of the camp! Read more here.

Wine cellar and gallery. The managers of Selinda and Zarafa Camps are Beverly and Dereck Joubert, who have become famous worldwide with numerous animal movies and photo books. http://www.wildlifeconservationfilms.com
