Tubu Tree CampClassic

5 standing tents on stilts with great view of a really beautiful floodplain. En-suite bathroom and outside shower, nice deck to relax and read. Building with a lounge and dining area, pool and unique outdoor bar for cocktails and pre-dinner drinks. In front of the camp, there is an area where adventurous "Dinner under the stars" is organized.

Tubu Tree is situated in the Jao Concession on a large peninsula, which allows great game drives all year round. During the floods, the plain fills itself up with water and from April to September, one can see a lagoon full of antelopes and birds. The area is probably one of the most beautiful in the Delta and very diverse, with the romantic palm islands giving a real Caribbean feel.

Tubu Tree has a wide variety of animals, you can find almost everything, including an impressive bird life. There are large herds of zebra, wildebeest and red lechwe (during floods), followed by lions, leopards and cheetahs. The hyenas are omnipresent and visit the camp every night - you will never forget the cry of the hyenas!

Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, night drives, bush walks (on request), fishing (catch & release). During high tide, Tubu also provides mokoro and boat trips.

An observation platform about 20 minutes outside the camp. Tubu Tree has an impressive density of leopards and there is a very good chance to see these shy cats.
