

Eight spacious tents with en-suite bathroom and veranda overlooking the lagoon. Bar and swimming pool are located in the main building. The dining area is built high above the water, where it has a beautiful view over the lagoon.

Mvuu Wilderness Lodge is located in the Liwonde National Park. Mvuu in Tonga means hippo and refers to the immense number of their existence here. The camp is located on the banks of the Shiree River, the biggest river in Malawi.

The lush green and fertile area is home to many different species, the larger of which are the elephants (the largest population in Malawi lives here), hippos, sable antelopes, impalas and waterbucks.

Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, walks, boat rides, bicycle tours, visits to the village at the park boundary. A rhino conservation in the national park can also be visited if you are interested.

Several viewing platforms are available for wildlife observation.
