Eight slightly elevated meru-style rooms with en-suite bathroom and veranda. The camp was created in connection with the "Save the Rhino Trust". The organization had the task of ensuring the survival of the black rhinos. The animals were largely protected from the rhino slaughter that took place mainly in the 80s and 90s. Today the rhino population is the largest on the planet outside of a national park!

In northwestern Namibia, in the midst of a stony, minimalist and beautiful rolling countryside.

Of course, the black rhino. The local employees of "Save the Rhino Trust" are today guides of the Desert Rhino Camp. Thanks to the fresh water springs in the area, one can find a good number of desert elephants, zebras, giraffes, gemsboks, springboks, kudus, lions, cheetahs and hyenas.

Rhino tracking on foot or in jeeps. Full-day excursions with a picnic, day and night drives.

Very nice sight of the rare black rhinos in the wild, which can only be observed in a few places on earth, and the Desert Rhino Camp is one of them.
