Palmwag Lodge
Different rooms are offered, from furnished chalets to tent-like shelters, all standalone.
In northern Damaraland lies a particularly beautiful area dotted with palm trees. The Palmwag area covers 450,000 hectares. The camp is located on the dried-up Uniab river bed.
The spectacular scenery includes the desert-adapted zebras, gemsboks, springboks and even the famous desert elephants and black rhinos.
Excursions in 4x4 vehicles, nature walks. Visits to the Himba tribe can be organized if the nomads are residing in the area.
