Busanga Bush CampClassic

The Busanga Bush Camp is a small, intimate camp with 4 double rooms with en-suite bathroom. The tents and the main building are not built on platforms and therefore provide a very close "bush experience". No pool.

The camp is located on an island overgrown with fig trees and surrounded by the vast plains of the Busanga in the Kafue National Park. In the vicinity of the camps are permanent waterways and floodplains, that are only under water during and after the rainy season.

Starting from the onset of the dry season, there are large herds of antelopes and buffaloes wandering on the plains, followed by the usual predators: lions, wild dogs and cheetahs. The prides of lions sometimes grow to a considerable size of up to twenty. The Busanga Plains are also a paradise for bird lovers: there are 491 different species.

Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, night drives, bush walks. Day trips with picnic and hammock.
