The Lufupa River Camp has nine comfortable rooms with en-suite bathroom, two of them built for families. The camp is run on a "Bed & Breakfast" basis. All activities, lunch and dinner, drinks are not included and should be organized at the camp itself. It also has a camping area in the vicinity.
The camp is located at the confluence of the Kafue River and the Lufupa River, two of the three main arteries of the Kafue National Park.
The area is very varied: river basins, forests and open plains are home to a large variety of animals. There are 55 species of mammals, including all six species of cats (lion, leopard, cheetah, wild cat, caracal and serval).
Game drives in open 4x4 vehicles, night drives, bush walks, boat trips, fishing. These activities are extra and to be booked at the camp itself.
