Legends Golf Resort
Entabeni, “The Place of the Mountain”, is situated in the World Heritage “Waterberg Biosphere” of the Waterberg region. It's a 22 000 ha malaria-free reserve boasting five eco-systems, game sightings of the Big Five and the Legends Golf Resort. The golf course is designed as an 18 hole championship golf course and plays at 6,534 metres. It is at once the longest golf course in South Africa, providing all golfers the experience of a true challenge. The Legend Golf Course has been designed by 18 different golfers, each one doing an entire hole, plus an extreme 19th 631m long par 3, which is played from a cliff from a vertical height of 430 metres. The cliff is accessible only by helicopter and a hole-in-one earns the lucky golfer one million US dollars!
You will overnight in one of the nearby 4 or 5-star lodges which cater for safari goers and golfers alike. The daily program is flexible, including game drives and guided walks with a ranger, and with optional extras such as a visit to a local Pedi village, guided horse trails, helicopter flights and meals on Hanglip Mountain, sunset boat cruises, children’s eco-educational programmes and beauty treatments.
